Changing your username
You cannot change the username for your Pay.gov account. To have a new username you must create a new account. Nothing from your current account will be transferred.
If you created your account yourself, create a new Pay.gov account.
If an agency created the account for you, contact the agency directly for help.
Changing your name in your Profile
Update it at any time in your Profile Information.
