Viewing Bills

How a bill is opened and viewed depends on whether or not it was added to your account.

Bills in Your Account.

Paid and unpaid bills already in your account are listed.

  1. Sign in.

  2. Your My Account page opens.

  3. Click the View My Bills button.

  4. Your My Bills page opens.

    Click the Pending tab to see bills needing to be paid. Pending bills have both the View Bill and Pay Bill buttons.

    Click the Completed tab to see bills you submitted including bills waiting to be processed and completed completed bills. Completed bills have only the View Bill button.

  5. Click the View Bill button to see the bill details.

    The bill detail includes links that allow you to open the bill as an Adobe PDF or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, which you can save for your records.

    Tip: For Pending bills only, click the Next button on the detail page make your payment.

  6. Alternately, for Pending bills click the Pay Bill button to immediately begin your payment.

New Bills Not Added to Your Account

Bills that do not require enrollment can be viewed without signing in. You can open and view them any time before you make your payment. After payment is completed the bill is no longer viewable on Pay.gov.

  1. Click either Make a Payment link on the home page.

  2. Click the Enter Access Code button.

  3. Step1 — Type in the Access Code and then click the Submit button.

  4. Step 2 — Type in the answer to the question and then click the Submit button.

  5. The My Bills page Pending tab opens with the bill listed.

    There is no Completed tab. This information is not available for bills that were not added to your account.

  6. Click the View Bill button to see the bill details.
