Use this form to pay the fee required when filing an appeal or motion on a Student & Exchange Visitor Program issued denial or withdrawal decision as well as a motion on an Administrative Appeals Team issued appeal decision.

This payment only applies to Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certified schools or those petitioning SEVP for certification.

Prior to filing the Form I-290B, you must pay the appeal or motion fee via Pay.gov. You must also submit the proof of payment with the Form I-290B before the deadline to timely file expires; failure to provide the proof of timely payment will result in the rejection of your appeal or motion. To pay the appeal or motion fee, access Pay.gov. The full fee rule, including details on the applicable fee amount, can be found in the Federal Register (84 FR 23930).
