Find a Form or Agency

You must use the correct payment form or your payment will not be credited.

Different payment forms may have similar names and descriptions. DO NOT GUESS WHICH FORM TO USE. If you are unsure of what form to use, contact the agency you are paying.

The most common payments, including VA Medical Copayments and SBA 1201, are listed on Pay.gov's home page.

Click the Pay it right here link.

Look in the What would you like to do? section of the home page for common search categories.

  1. Click a category's See all options link.
  2. A page listing all agency forms for that category opens.
  3. Links to other pages of matching forms is at the top.
  4. Locate the form you need and click Continue.

  2. In the Filter by Agency section to the left, check the box next to one or more agency names.
  3. The list immediately updates to show only forms for the selected agencies.

Sorting the forms list helps you find the form you need.

  1. Click See all options for the What would you like to do? category.
  2. In the sort by box, select how you want forms listed.
  3. The list immediately updates.

  1. Click Explore More Options in the bar near the top of the page to see other common payments.
  2. The page lists the most common payments by agency.
  3. Click View all options next to an agency name to see all payments you can make.
  4. Find the payment you need to make and click Continue.

The search box is at the top of most Pay.gov pages.

  1. Enter one of the following:
    • a payment form name or title (all or part)
    • a form description (all or part)
    • a word about what you are looking for (examples: park, loan, training, fish)
    • the form's OMB or agency number
  2. Click Search.
  3. All matching forms are listed.

Agencies with forms for the category are listed under Filter by Agency on the left.

  1. Check the box next to one or more agency names.
  2. The list immediately updates to show only forms for the selected agencies.

Or click Find an Agency in the bar near the top of the page.

  1. Click on the agency you want on the list.
  2. Find the form you need.
  3. Click Continue.
